The Devil Wears Prada Musical

The Devil Wears Prada brings the glossy, high-pressure world of Runway magazine to the West End in a big, unapologetically fashion-forward musical. With a score by Elton John, it is a lively, comic take on the novel and film, packed with elaborate costumes, sharp one-liners and high-energy ensemble numbers.

The story follows aspiring journalist Andy as she lands a job as assistant to the formidable editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly—and finds herself increasingly drawn into the glamorous world she once dismissed. It is especially enjoyable for fans of the film, though first-timers can easily follow the story.

The show is at the Dominion Theatre, close to Tottenham Court Road station, with evening performances Monday–Saturday and matinees on Wednesday and Saturday. It is currently booking until 25 September 2027, with tickets from £25. The running time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, including an interval.

Cast note Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty) plays Miranda Priestly until 19 September 2026. For later performances, Debbie Kurup takes over from 21 September to 17 October, followed by Teri Hatcher from 20 October 2026 to 6 February 2027. Cast appearances can change, so check the date-specific listing when booking.

Good to know The production is recommended for ages 8+, and children under 5 cannot attend. It includes haze, flashing and strobe lighting, camera flashes, loud bass music, thunder sound effects, some strong language and mild sexual references.
