Lightroom is an immersive art and entertainment venue in Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross. Rather than a traditional gallery, it uses floor-to-ceiling projection across four 11-metre walls and the floor, paired with spatial sound, to place visitors inside artist-led stories.

- David Bowie: You’re Not Alone — on until 10 January 2027. A roughly hour-long looping experience built from performance footage, interviews and archive material. Suitable for all ages; tickets from £25 for adults and £15 for students and under-18s. Book Bowie tickets

- Bowie Nights: David Bowie Music Lover — Thursday 8 October 2026, 7pm. An author talk with Bowie collaborators Geoff MacCormack and Jérôme Soligny, followed by a viewing of You’re Not Alone. Tickets include the exhibition and start from £27.50. Book the event
- Larger Than Life: Starring Wallace & Gromit, Shaun and More — 14 October 2026 to 4 January 2027. A family-friendly, 50-minute journey into Aardman’s characters and stop-motion craft. Tickets from £25 for adults and £15 for students and under-18s. It is open Monday, Thursday–Saturday and Sunday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Evening opening is available Thursday to Saturday.
Shows run on a loop, rather than starting at a fixed time, and entry slots are generally sold every 30 minutes. Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your slot. Seating is unallocated and may be limited, so expect to stand or move around the space. A £2 transaction fee is added per booking. Families can receive 15% off selected daytime slots when booking three or more tickets. Lightroom also schedules BSL and relaxed performances for selected shows; check the venue’s accessibility information before booking if reduced sound, lower lighting or other adjustments would help.
