V&A East Storehouse

V&A East Storehouse feels less like a traditional museum and more like being allowed backstage at one of the world’s biggest design archives.

Instead of carefully curated galleries, you wander through towering open storage spaces packed with fashion, furniture, theatre sets, posters, sculptures and odd historical treasures, with the sense that you’re discovering things rather than being guided to them.
